  • The Obstacle is the Way by Ryan Holiday – for a while I was considering stoicism as my life philosophy but it was only until I read Holiday’s book that everything clicked
  • Anything You Want by Derek Sivers – Derek shares some great life and business advice for those of us who like to live life casually
  • Programming the Universe by Seth Lloyd – what if the universe is a simulation running on a quantom computer?
  • The Passionate Programmer by Chad Fowler – this book is filled with career wisdom for us programmers. After reading it I decided to find a job abroad
  • Fictions (Ficciones) by Jorge Luis Borges – this book is filled with some of the best short stories I’ve ever read. My two favorite ones are The Garden of Forking Paths and The Library of Babel
  • The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry – a short book filled with wisdom. It thought me not to take myself too seriously
  • Hackers: Heroes of the computer revolution by Steven Levy – Up to this day, Levy’s hacker ethic is one of my drivers in life
